(176 K)

Version 1.10 final : Display in automatic mode is now OK.

You can now use 1,2 or 3 positionnal parameters on the command line.

LogClean.exe [[[P1] P2] P3]

P1 = Name of the log file

P2 = normal

// normal optimization

P2 = complete

// complete optimization

P2 = anything else

// complete optimization assumed

P3 = auto

// automatic mode (batch)

P3 = anything else

// interactive mode

If there is an error during an automatic process then interactive mode will popup.
You can now create a batch file to clean all your machines.

example:

CD C:\My_RC5_Folder
call logclean.exe activity.log complete auto
call logclean.exe \\Machine1\dnet\stat.log complete auto

Version 1.10 beta2 : Do not freeze anymore when there is no logfile in the .ini file.
Version 1.10 beta1 : Can work from a batch file. Now you are able to clean all the log files on your LAN machines (If you have admin rights). Beta version (display bug when used in automatic mode)
Version 1.01 : You can use the log file name as a parameter when launching LogClean
Search the name of the log file in the .ini file.
Version 1.0 : First release.

Sneaky

Sneaky is a little sneakernetting program for Win9x. I think it should work with Windows NT. Just put it in your RC5-64 folder.
It becomes possible to build a large buff-in.rc5 with more than 500 packets (up to 9999 packets). The file containing the keys to proceed (buff-in.rc5) could now contain up to 319968 2^28 keys. Starting with V2.30, Sneaky fetches up to 99999 WUs/2^28 keys.

You can choose the size of the packets to download. 2^00 is for the actual size of packets.

Version 2.30 (03/14/2001) : BEWARE : Sneaky now works ONLY with the DNETC clients. It now fetches WUs (up to 99999) instead of packets.

Don't hesitate to contact me for bug reporting.

Version 2.21 (07/09/2000) : CHANGES ONLY FOR THE DNETC VERSIONS ! Two bugs down ! Sneaky is now able to bypass the "fetch-time-threshold" parameter in the latest DNETC clients. Sneaky is no longer crashing if no "buff-out.rc5" file.
Sneaky2.zip (143 K)

Version 2.20 (04/08/2000) : Still no enough free time for full testing... Sneaky 2.20 eliminates (I hope so... ) some bugs from version 2.10. It doesn't need anymore someone to click after each fetch from DNET. It tries to put the older WU's at the top of the buff-in file for the DNETC clients.

Version 2.10 (03/31/2000) : Beta version ! Not enough free time for full testing. CHANGES ONLY FOR THE DNETC VERSIONS : Sneaky is now able to fetch 9999 packets instead of 9999 Wus. Sneaky fetches by step of 2000 WUs instead of 500. NO CHANGE FOR RC5DES AND RC5DESG VERSIONS.

Version 2.00 (02/06/2000) : It's a beta version. Sneaky is now able to work with a DNETC.EXE client. It has been lightly tested with DNETC V 2.8005.455. No changes for RC5DES and RC5DESG clients. You don't need to upgrade if you're not using a DNETC client. If you're using a DNETC client which version number is below 2.8005.455, i strongly recommend to upgrade to the latest client available.

Version 1.10 beta4 (01/14/2000) : On some configs, Sneaky reported no blocks on the floppy ! So, flushing from floppy was not possible. Bug fixed. If Sneaky is installed on several machines, upgrade to beta4 on all the machines !
BEWARE : Sneaky doesn't work with CSC packets and has not been tested with DNETC.EXE clients.

Version 1.10 beta3
(11/21/1999) : One little bug fixed... Close to final release ?
Version 1.10 beta2 (11/14/1999) : Sneaky no longer flushes the packets when fetching from DNet.
Bug fixed : When no change in packet size, Sneaky no longer fetches 2^28 packets instead of preferred block size.
Version 1.10 beta1: You can now choose a different size of packet when fetching from DNet. 2^00,2^ or 2^33<Size<2^28 then no size change. Forcing 2^32 or 2^33 size is only possible with CLI441, CLI443 and CLI444 versions.
Bug fixed : No renaming of RC5DES(G).INI when fetching from floppy.
Version 1.00 beta1 : The size of the downloaded packets is read in RC5DES(G).INI and can't be modified.
Successfully tested with CLI 444, GUI 432 et GUI 436.
